WiSensys Range Extender
The WiSensys range extender has been released officially as of January 1st 2011
Therefore I want to inform on introduction aspects.
The data sheet of the range extender is available on the website
Pictures are available on request.
Complete new system
In case you order a complete new system all components have software and hardware which can work with a range extender (sensor SW: R3; Base station SW: R4, SensorGraph R5)
Range extender in existing system
In case you want to add a range extender to an existing system you have to keep in mind the following
• You need to upgrade the sensors with new software (R3)
• You need a new SensorGraph (R5)
• You need to upgrade your base station (R4)
New sensors in existing system without range extender
New sensors will be shipped all with new software (SW version R3) (suitable for range extender).
New sensors can be paired to an existing base station (SW version R3 or lower) (without range extender functions).
New base station in existing system without range extender
In case you have a new base (SW version R4) you need sensors with SW version R3 (older versions will not pair with a new base).
This means in an existing system you have to upgrade the sensors to SW version 3 in case you replace the base with a base with R4 software.
